does anyone what the differnt lengths of the dog bones are??
i know the 86 is one length and the 87-89 are another.
the one i have measures 6 3/4"s from the center of each mounting hole, its supposed to be an 86 dog bone.
anyone know what the 87-89 measure's????????

They are different?? They didn't change the swingarm till 88, and I thought the linkage was all the same. I'm using the 86 hardware on my 88-89 style LSR swingarm and it works great.

yes they are with out a doubt differnces.
this is how it works:
86 is all alone, same fork link as the rest but longer dog bone and longer shock length and +1 swingarm

87-89 same linkage

87 shock is same length as 88-89 but valved differnt for the longer 87 +1swing arm

88-89 same shocks, -1 swingarm

you can out any year setup on any year bike, you just need to keep the linkage year the same as the shock year.

when you start changing swing arm lengths its gets tricky but u need to know what year goes with what.

88-89 measures exactly 5.902 inches......................hope that helps.................:o
