For starters I have an 02 400ex. Last week I rebuilt the motor with a 416 je and a hotcam 2 from C and D. I have a k and n jet kit running a 160 jet ,with the clip on the 3rd slot, uni foam filter and a t4 pipe.The only thing I have done to the carb during rebuild was up the jetting to 160 and run the jet kit b4 for over a year with no problems.Sunday I went to LBL to break in and heres the problem .On level ground this setup rocked ,even spanked a slightly mod. raptor in a drag ,yes I did drag on a break-in but after it had been riden for 6 hours:D When going up a hill though it seemed like it was running out of gas . It would spit and sputter throughout the rpm range . I was running race and the air filter was cleaned during rebuild ,reoiled with bel ray foam filter oil.I hope I thought of everthing ,any help would be appreciated!
