aHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! i just found crack in my frame. its up by the handle bars kinda. does this mean i need a whole new frame or can i just get a good welder to weld it?

i would tear it down weld and gusset the frame, and then repaint it all or powdercoat. if you do that you won't have anymore problems

just do what they said and it will be fine....i just found one in my 250x aslo..im tearin it down this winter

thats would i would do. I am in the same boat you are in only i broke my frame in 4 spots. I am just buying a new frame and subframe from service honda over the winter bebuild stages as a reassurance thing. I am also having it gusseted and powdercoated.:)
