400ex shocks or 300ex works?

if i get the 400ex conversion on my 300ex,should i get the 400's stock shocks or 300ex works dual rates w/o rezzies?

Don't do it!
Get wider arms that are designed for the 300ex then fab up some brackets for the 400ex shocks.

if u get wider 300ex arms can u use the bracket from my 400ex front end coversion to use the same shocks?

Yep, we have done this on 2 of Dave MacCarrolls (GNCC sport champ) 300ex's. Makes it a whole new quad!!!

Are you guys saying that if you have +2 300ex a-arms and say a bolt on shock mount you can put on 400ex shocks and it will work fine?????????

yeop,u gotta get a shock relocater tho....everybodys not made of money soo 400ex stocks are alot cheaper.

Cool sounds good then I got everything I wasn't sure if it was gonna work with the +2 300ex a-arms becasue the shock mount on the a-arms are more toward the middle compared to the 400ex a-arms where the mount is more toward the spindle. Good news!! I haven't been able to try this out myself becasue my bike is at the shop. Now I can't wait to get it back and try this out. :p

so if you have plus 2 a-arms you can put 400ex stock shcoks on???what is a shock relocater and what if you got a gibson front end for a 400ex would everything be able to fit enculdeing the 19'' axis

no offense to Jeff but if you did want to do the 400ex a-arms they do work and i don't see that they are all that bad. but if you race and mx alot i would defiantly do what Jeff says. he knows what he is talking about.

yea i race every weekend i go to woodland,pafic raceways puyallup,monroe,belingham,albany,and i ride woods here and there what do you do??:)

I have +2 laegers on order, with +2 300ex steel lines and +4 axle and sent my works to get rebuilt for +2 400 a-arms, lengthend and rezzies added....I hope to get it back together soon, and let me tell, this is the best set up anyone can use for the 300ex, the relocater doesnt even compare.........

REALLY.......well right now we are doing the Monroe series, then we will go to Oakwood probably for thier indoor series. We also race @ Rainier when we can get there, haven't been to Hannegan YET but we will!! So you flattrack @ Monroe or arenacross???? WEll will you be there this weekend, if so come & say HI we will be pitting under the RIDE motorsports canopy, well we should be anyway unless the arenacrossers have it. come look for us BTW I'll have lots of shock covers for sale there too:D
