250x with 250r/400ex a-arms?

Hi I just ripped apart my friends 250x, and I wanted to make sure about which a-arms will fit a 250x.

will a 400ex a-arms fit a 250x?

what about a-arms from a 250r?

lemme know!

engine work too?

any cam sugestions? and valve/retainer/ spring suggestions?

they will fit, (I'm pretty sure both will go right on) there is a few different things you can do to solve the shock problem.
1. you can use the stock shocks, and have lots of sag.
2. you can get works to make you a set, a set of steelers should set you back $300. if you call works they will let you know what info they need to make a set.
3. you can get either 250r, or 400ex upper shock mounts. there are couple different companys who make them, but require cutting and welding.
4. one guy on here a while back made his own bolt-on kit to accept 250r shocks (or 400ex, cant remember). took a few tries to get it right I think, but in the end it worked (at least last I heard).
