today when i got home from school my dad told me he ordered my ProFab 330 kit for my 300ex!!! The guy at profab (forgot his name..) said that their 330 kit will be more reliable than stock, and make a night and day difference in power, and that i would be giving piped 400s a run for their money. THe piston is a JE 10.8:1 compression piston (so i dont have to run race gas) and im also getting a 400ex carb (gonna be running a 155 main, and 42 pilot to start), and im also getting HD clutch springs for it since the ba#terds at Ridge Motor sports didnt install them when they said they did....but anyway im really stoked about this!!! I hope that by doing this i will be able to keep my 330 for a long while.

well the whole 330 kit with shipping was 310, and im buying the carb from a friend for like 35-40 bucks

are u going to have the motor ported and stuff?
what are u going to do about keping it cool? air scoops or a cooler?

well i ordered the pump gas kit that doesnt require an oil cooler, but i am ordering scoops for looks and the extra cooling they give. Im also getting a 14 tooth front sprocket, 36 rear sprocket, 20in rear tryes, and probably 20 or 21 in front tyres for it.

I had scott at pro fab do the machine work to my 250X now a 300 race port ,cam ,hardened rockers and a complete dg exhaust and it wilhang with some big dogs at the track!! My friend has a banshee and i can hang with him all day long at the track,I beat him this weekend at hangtime. you wont be dissopointed scott dont lie!!

either they were poor riders or you're one hell of an ex rider;)

i've ridden a 416 and it didn't have nearly as much accel, power, or top end as my banshee. but i'd still like to drag you to see how it ends up:)

On the sprocket i bought 14 tooth front...it wont fit with the stock case saver..i dont want to take it off, is there a way to fit it on with the stock one? and uh for this
is the kit just piston and rings, no port all it is is piston, sleeve, and gaskits pretty much, but for only 310 with shipping its not bad. i'm getting my head ported and polished at the shop im having put the sleeve in.:macho im soo excited:D

ya...just change the rear sprocket instead of the front sprocket

out-sider id love to race you if im ever in the area or like wise. thier are companies that make a case saver for a 14 tooth front look in dirt wheels. Im running a 14/36 and it still pulls hard.My buddies banshee has a milled head +4 degree key and toomy pipes. Thats what im comparing it to also it will hang with a z-400. Ill be selling the 250x for long to build my 416ex for motorcross.:macho
