what could cause your oil ring to go on a 400ex ?
i had to change my oil rings and piston about 2 month ago and i think im going to have to do it again!!!!:grr: :mad: and my 400ex is only a year old !!!! what the hell could be causing this?????

when i had to change it the first time i was running every thing stock and now i have a full system LRD exhaust with a K&N air filter with the precharger and no airbox cover AND dont worry im jetting good!!

oil ring and piston? are u getting somethin in your engine like sand ect?

it is important to keep the K&N filter oiled. check the intake boot with a white paper towel to see if any dust made its way through the filter. also, what makes you think your oil ring is going out?
