New Honda quad or Bike engine?

hey i was wondering if i should build an arens crf 450 with a crf 450 motorcycle engine or should i buy a new honda crf quad??? Whats better then the other? Also will all my roll design 400ex stuff mount to the new honda quad, im sure this has been asked before but i couldnt find it please help me out!!:confused:

I don't know about the trx450R, but the CRF is awesome...If you need a motor, I know a buddy that has some.

I say buy a TRX450R since Honda has already done the homework for you and the quad CRF-based motor is going to be a more reliable engine. If you're worried about the stock frame just strip it down and reinforce it.

well im not sure yet see id like to build one becasue ive alwaysheard that the bike engines are faster then the quads but im not sure. But if you say nothing on a ex or r will fit them im deffinatly doing it cause i cant afford to sell my a-arms and shocks. Thanks for the help guys!

I have been considering trying to stuff a GSXR 750 in an ex frame. But its the frist project of that nature I will have ever tryed an im not sure if I have the skills necessary.

well it all depends on wether you are wanting to race alot or not......you can bye the new trx450r but if you have the money you are going to change every thing on it exep for the frame and motor.....so if y not just go and get a dirt bike motor witch would be faster
