I went riding the other day and by the end of the day i noticed when i got the revs up some blue smoke would come out of my exhaust. Its got a pretty new weisco hi-comp piston in it. i noticed a little wetness of oil around my head. i figured my head gasket was blown but theres no loss of power. it still runs great. would that cause my smoking problem? oh i ride a 300ex

Blue smoke means its oil....get a compression test done & find out if its your rings......

it could be the valves or valve seals. might wanna check that too.

Yes I believe that blue smoke means you have oil mixed in with your gas or somthing.

you said you have a newer piston. maybe when the motor was being put back together, something didn't get the attention it deserved. i would check your valves. and maybe a new gasket
