I heard that big tires (my mudshark 22's) will ruin bearings and put more stress on the axle, is this true? why so?

well yes anything with more weight on it will stress it out more but bearings are a wearing part and never heard of bigger tires prematurely wearing them out but i do know for a fact that mud and water do and people probably get the 2 confused like right after they installed new tires the axle bearings wore out but i know alot of people that run 22's on 400ex and 250rs and it doesnt do a thing to them!;)

i got 22" dirt devils & i think my bearing went out because the chain keeps coming loose...or the chain is old & stretching...either way I love these dirt devils & I will be getting another pair soon (3,200 miles on them & still 25% tred left :D ) http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid73/p108545a28af78cb7b05ebd1bffe5e096/fb7aac2e.jpg
