Now that I have done my motor work, I can barely keep the front tires on the ground while going up the steep dunes. Does anyone run an extended swing arm? What size and brand?

Houser 1 1/4 extended. It will keep the front end down, but it likes to skate alittle on the off cambers.Definatley worth it though.Rear shock will have to be revalved.

Only 1 1/4? I was thinking of a +4? Or do you think that would be too much?

extending 4 inches is like trying to swing a U-turn on a FORD f350 long bed....when you had a Toyota.
Kidding....I hear alot of people doing the1-1/2 with good results.

A +2 keeps the front end down plenty and you can still do whatever you want with it. +4 really is way too long on the 400. You wont ever need that.

I have a +4, I don't like it so much. It is great for hill shooting but I would rather have a +2 over.

I have been shopping now for quite sometime for a +4 swingarm. I only ride dunes, and am always looking for hillclimbs. Tucker makes a nice one for the 400 and so does RPM, but ive decided to go with Sandragon Motorsports. Im only going to go with a +3 though. Chromed and all.
