When is everyone starting their Winter Rebuild

well i did the whole suspension thing last month and pc and new plastic i left the motor alone to do this winter till it blew last sunday so its in the shop now thats my plans:ermm:

i just finished rebuilding mine... started the break in on the motor yesterday actually. I may just tear it back down for the 4th time in the last 3 months to get it PC'd. Not too sure yet however...

Mine is not gonna get a huge teardown, but all of the new and redone stuff will start going on in November after racing season. Man I wish this was the winter for the 416, but oh well!:macho

probally after christmas break, i am goin to bring it in to school to work on, i take automotives at school. i will probaly just be rebuliding the top end and a new cam, maybe port and polish

after x-mas im tearing own the frame winter dont hit hard till january so im starting then to get gusset, rear shock rebuilt, and pc, but i will have shocks, a a-rms and a few other things before then.

mine is nuttin special i am just tearing down puttin all new bushings and bearings and and new plastics........it will look ok just a daily rider i guess i am just poor and cant build a kool bike like ya'll:( :ermm: mike (bmw 500hp) has the details about the gusseting and stuff like that its not a real big rebuild.......i wish it was i am just puttin it in there so i can hope....lol well i payin everyone with r's not to enter so i can have the best r.......... :devil:

im actually gunna try and get my motor redone before winter even starts so i dont have to look at it and wish i was riding it

I will be fully starting mine next month, sendin the motor out to FDO for heavy duty connecting rod, 13:1 comp JE piston, and some nice head work :devil: he said he's built 426s around 42-44 horse so i'll be hittin around there :D

then I'll also be gettin some new front mx tires and just some misc stuff

ill be starting real soon. gonna sent the frame out to be pc'd and gusseted, getting hipers all around, elka long travels, tcs rear rebuild, rpm axle, antifade, and subframe, burgard +3 long travel arms, orange race cut fullbore plastics, quad tech hood and who knows what else. prolly will get a slip on to. and if i have extra money left over ill get a swingarm for rpm. :D

i hope to get new shocks and a arms for up front but idk if that will happen just because i don't come across that kind of money really quickly. if i can sell my stock fonr end for 500 then i have some towards shocks only but what about a arms? ill never get them before race season unless it really snows this winter. then i have to worry about axle,bars,front hipers and tires. im going to ask for money for christmas.

I entered my R. :D I think it will be NICE. It going to be from the ground up rebuild, cause it was never built :blah: I think Chef is gunna beat everyone lilman. He has the nicest quads on here, and the best ones too.

mine isnt gonna actually be a rebuild since im in the market for a 400ex right now but its gonna be more of just add new parts-assemble-ride-add new parts-assemble-ride like that since i dont need to redo the whole thign yet. im going to look at a 400 on saturday about an hour away from here that i might buy. its a 2000 but the guy has barely ever rode the thing, he doesnt even know what kind of stuff is on it. he says there is a pipe, nerfs, and skidplates so ill have to see what kinda pipe it is ect. the parts i plan on gettng are a new pipe if the one on it isnt nice, some bars, maxxis 4-snow tires on .160s for snow riding, some 18in razr mx on beadlocks for the rear and some small stuff here and there

Im not going to start my winter rebuild for a while. Im going to work my arse off to get as much money as I can so that im ready this year in April and not in June. Ill probably start the rebuild after we get alot of snow and I cant ride at all in it. I hate working on my quad in the winter. It cold and a pain wearing a jacket and stuff. Oh well as long as its ready and good to go in late April, early May.

I am going to rebuild the top end just after we finish racing Nov. 1. I was planning on the rebuild but I noticed it starting to smoke when I was riding this weekend.
