heavy duty timing chain

i have been thinking about getting a heavy duty timing chain for my 400ex since i just put in a 11:1 piston with a stage 2 cam. i am not if this is necessary with this being the only mods i have not including full pipe with bolt-ons etc?? also, does this heavier chain slow you down any?? should i change the cam sprocket or anything else if i decide to up-grade? thanks
