Anybody still downloading from Kazaa?

I was just wodnering if any of you guys/girls were still downloading songs, and for some people ;) videos?

i do videos, i dont do songs anymore though.

download away on kazza, just be sure to turn off the file sharing thing so ppl cant get the songs from you

or move all your files to a folder off of the Kazza *harddrive*. Just go to any folder you want wether it be my documents or whatever on the C drive. Right click and open new folder (or make new folder,or just make folder). Name it. Go to Kazaa on your C drive and got to the shared folder icon. click...click,hold and drag all your files to the said named new folder. Easy and simple. I think Kazaa++ has non spyware software built into it. the RIAA only searchs the Kazaa folders. it is all they can legally (and I use this word lightly) to see what you have. Its the safest and best way to keep your piriting up. Warez forever~

I have been using Shareaza after the Kaaza scam...It is set up almost the same way, but the downloads are faster, and the search's are more comprehensive.. You can check it out at http://www.shareaza.com..

I use to do that on my old computer befor i got it redone.Now i just have winamp to play my songs on and don't download any more.My dad's friend said i had to much junk on my `old computer.So thats why it would run so slow and some's freez and crap.O well i am happy that i could atleast keeo muy songs.MY one friend in driffent stat says his dad's friend got some on on his computer to block them from tracking him.I don't know maybe he just did what you guys said.Anyone of you guys buy cd's lately?I just bought like 5 and all came up to like $80.:eek2:

I use Kazaa Lite, and I run thier IP Blocker Updater before downloading anything, and as soon as it's downloaded I move it to the My Music folder in My Documents.

*raises hand* i use kazaa++ edition or watever. But all my songs are in My Documents/My Music but i want something new...cuz kazaa has to many crap files, like i'll download like...10-20 songs in a night...at least 5 are crap. I'm buying a seperate hard-drive for all my songs and videos....heh...i have about 4 gigs of music on my drive...:eek:

Damn right it is. Those producers and stars are rich enough, they don't need any more money. Those pop stars have the easiest job in the world, and they get paid WAY too much. Pretty much the same goes form rock stars, and definitely for rap stars. I don't even know why they call them 'stars', thier job is easy as hell. I could do it.

i agree on the junk files lately. try emule or albumwrap.

i moved all our music files to another folder, im still sharing my other stuff, but just not music. it makes me mad when people dont share at all. i completely understand music and movies, but the other stuff should be shared. hooters should be seen by all.

You guys think even know you do that stuff you can still get cought?I have heard if you get cought it's $1000 a song is this true?I might start downloading again this $80 for 5 cd's is a bunch of crap.The news said cd price are suppost to come down bull crap.That $80 could go for some quad parts.

kazaa lite ++ is the best by far, no popups at all. runs alot better and uses windows media player in theatre. theres no need to stop downloading from the public, just keep about a maximum of 1,000 songs and dont share. might as well take advantage while we can.

I would also recommend soulseek. They keep changing their url web adress. kinda playing a catch me if you can thing with the RIAA. they have not been caught yet. Just search google for it. if you can find it. IM me at "trailsforus" and I will send you the install wizard...:)

I use Imesh(www.imesh.com) and it works pretty well. They have there own theator and player. I read in a magizine that some girl(she was about 13) got sued cause she was downloading music. In the article they said that they are aiming for people with 1000+ songs. The girl that got sued, got sued for $150,000 a song....:eek: Not sure if they won the lawsuit though. I still download music, but if they sue me...I got about a $90,000,000 bill to pay off....:mad: lol
