250x with 400ex a-arms

I was woundering how 400ex shocks work on a 250x with 400ex a-arms. I don't know if I should get 250 or 400 should some info would help. thanks

id bet it works, i looked at a 250x with 250R a-arms and shocks last weekend.

i had 400ex a arms on my old 250x but i had blaster shocks on the quad.......... the combination wasnt really as bad as it sounds it worked halfway decent
i loved the a arms tho

It works great if it's done right. I have 87 250r a arms with 14.75" works that are made for the conversion. Or you can use the 400ex shocks with the upper shockmount bracket. The 400 shocks will only work WITH the bracket. Aftermarket a arms may be a little better though. I'm very happy with mine overall. It handles much better than before. Hope this helps.
