I was reading in the Tech section on the Mickey Dunlap 1 the 2nd question he answered he said he prefers the stock box w/ the no rev limit mod done to it v/s the others like w/b and ect. Any way my question is this, does anyone know how to do this mod and is it difficult and can you tell me how?

Sorry if this has already been answered in a diff post, if so could you give me the link THANX

the mod is taking the whole limiter out...so there is no limit on rpms...the wb box and other rev boxes still have a limiter on them around like 11,500 rpm or so i think...but im not sure

well I know you can't just take the whole box off, it controls other things besides just the limiter, so how do you remove just the limiter part of it?

You have to send it to FST and he removes it via hooking up to a programmer and reprograming it for $80. It is way better because it doesnt change the timing, and you can still start your quad in cold weather.

There is really no need for this mod learn to shift when you need to and use the clutch to control the rpm's in higher gears.
