250r engine in 400ex chasis

Has anyone in here put a 250r engine in a 400ex chasis?. If so what kind of mods did you have to make to the chasis?. Would you recomend any one else to do this project or not.

I think they are awful close in geometry so I don't see an advantage besides just having newer components. I think Service Honda is making new R's by using 400ex chassis an CR250 motors, which is kind of a similar idea (but a 250r motor would vibrate less).
