250X or 250 EX?

ive heard people call it a 250X before but mostly i hear "250X" is there a difference?

the 250x is the exact same thing as the 300ex except for a smaller displacment engine and kickstart, but no electric start and its a bit lighter, i believe they have more compression also, there older quads though

the 250ex is newer but its a shaft drive ,auto clutch quad, it actually has a recon engine in it modified for a more playful quad but it actually only has 229 cc's

the 250EX is a beginners sport quad and the 250X is a old model of the 300ex

just like they said..the 250x has a manual clutch and the 250ex doesnt..the 250x is a lot sportier..they stopped making them in 1992
