rear Raptor shock

Just got ahold of 2001 rear raptor shock for sons 300ex. I know about the possibility of the 400ex spring on it. The question is what else can i do to this shock to make it better.

I dont know mutch about that setup but i have a 400ex spring ill sell you cheap if you need it.

is the rapter shock with a 400ex spring much better then a 300ex stock shock?
would it just be better to buy a works 300ex aftermarket shock??
i have to do something to my rear end to keep up witht the front end!!

I think the raptor shock is comparable to low end works with rezzie, but I am not sure. Its got to be better than 300ex stock shock

I haven't recieved it yet, i am waiting for some one to give me some answers, but i guess my son will find out soon enough

well when u get it u have to let me know because that is one of the next mods, a new rear shock.
