Shaved flywheel

Has anyone ever shaved their fly wheel on their 300ex? i was thinking about having it done. but i dont know if it is worth it. I would want nothing more than it to rev a lil faster.

it is going to rev faster, but you will be sacrificing a little bit of low end torque :)

Get a cam instead.Shaveing the flywheel does help it rev but the engine will lack the extra turning mass that helps it "lug" at low rpm's.
