Can you PC gold 250r rims? Also what size are rims are the rears?

the gold r rims are the same as 400ex rims just with a anodizing on them aircraft stripper can remove it;)

yes you can powdercoat the wheels

not one bit! i did that to a set of r wheels i bought off ebay from dirt cheap bought em and they look like 400ex wheels now. becareful though that aircraft stripper hurts like a mofo if ya get it in a cut......;) :eek2: but pc'ing them is fine but ask pappy to make sure!:o

You could probably PC them if you strip and polish them but new aluminum wheels don't cost that much, probably about the same as PC would.

Some of those things are pretty caustic. I've used strippers that have eaten through the latex gloves i was wearing (and started on my skin) in a matter of seconds. :eek:

I can get a set R wheels pretty cheap.

Well yeah stock R wheels are dirt cheap, but what i'm saying is the prep and powdercoating of them will probably cost as much as a set of douglas aluminum wheels that are already nice and shiny.

what happens if you just sandblast them and then powdercoat? I have a guy who can Powdercoat real cheep.
