416 with stage1 hotcams jetting

I'm taking my jug to the machine shop tomorrow and I cant wait to get er back together but I would like to know what other people have had for jets on similar setups. I'm going to try a 165 main, lowest clip needle clip position(highest needle position) and a 42 pilot. does this sound like a good start?

i agree. my friend just put in a stage 1 with a 406 10:1 compression piston. he is running a k&n filter with a slip on silencer. he is jetted at:

158 main
stock needle position
42 pilot

moving the clip down to the lowest position will be really rich. i even think the 4th positon is a little rich on my bike so i moved it back to the 3rd position. we are going to try a 155 main to see if that makes it run any better. i personally think a 165 is too big.
