is the t-4 good or not i have a 250ex and im wondering if i want that or a e-series?

i heard the t-4 was junk, the e series is lot more tunable, for power and sound. and the spark arrestor is easy to take off

Everyone I know, myself included, likes the T-4. Fit, finish and looks are excellent. And it's tunable with a simple jet change :D

thx ill prolly go with the white brother cause ive heard more about them and not really heard anything bad about.

the T4 is the lightest pipe made. the white bros. will allow you to use your stock jetting (according to the instructions) but, you will probably want to re-jet anyway.
the T4 is cheaper, and if your gonna re-jet you can use the money you save to buy new jets or a jet kit. the T4 is also pretty loud (without the quiet core insert). so, if noise is a concern you'll probably want to go with the E-series. my T4 is at 97db without the quiet core. the E-series can be adjusted by removing discs.

the T4 is not junk, whoever told you that is mistaken. from the weld jobs to the machining is all top notch.

I have a T-4 on my 400ex and I can just say I love it. It is a bit load but I like it that way. When I'm next to other piped bikes it seems as though mike is louder, but I'm not to sure about that one. I like the T-4 because of the looks and the quality of the pipe. They make different end caps to tune the pipe for low mid hih end power. The also have a quiet core insert and spark arrestor you can buy. As for taking the spark arrestor out, just take three hex head screws out and out she comes..

Don't let anyone BS you, The T-4 slip on is a well made pipe. It has a good loud "bark".

In good shape on the used market it's a good deal at 75.00 to 100.00. A 155 main/airbox on worked for me!

By the way, if anyone has the "small end cap" would like to buy and try it just to experiment.
