K&N [jet kit ] quistion "main jet"???

I have the jet kit on my 400ex with after market exhaust, K&N filter,no lid. I jeted to directions[170] & it seems to be rich[on the main]I was wondering what you guys are runing for a main[with the jet kit]I heard that a 155 keihin works great but thats with out the jet kit..Thanks for any help!!

i ran the same set up as you with a 155 main...and it was still a bit rich.

170 is way big. Go down to a 160 and keep goin down till it's right..

Remember that the jet kit sizes are not equal to Keihin jet sizes. I am running a 155 Keihin main jet which is larger than a jet kit's 155.

actually it's the other way around when i had the k&n jet kit i ran a dj165 which is equivelent to a khein 155 or somwhere around there

I"ve run nuttin but dynojets in my quad since day one so that is what i was referring too.
