yes i did search for jetting issues, but id like to know if anyone has done the same mods as i have, (big gun full race, kn w/ outer filter, and one hole drilled on the lid, and the choke removed) i ride in the california dunes near the yuma border. i think i have a 134 main DJ and the DJ needle is set to groove #3. any help would be apreciated. would i need to go to a diffrent sized jet? drop the needle, or just have to fidle with the mixture screw??

go out and get a #42 pilot jet, that will help alot. its better to be running rich than lean tho...

I did the same thing (ridered86) did, the 42 pilot helps alot.
although in cold weather if it does not start fast enough you have a tendency to foul plugs. but I would rather foul plugs than run lean:)

I removed my choke a few months back, I didnt have to change my Jetting. Although, my pilot has been one up from stock for quite awhile now.

i like the 42 pilot jet. however, i would make sure you dont have a 134 main in. that is too lean.
