Heating up plastic??

I read in the FAQ section that heating up your plastic will bring back the shine? Is this true, has anyone done it?

Yes it works to a point. There is a very fine line between making the plastic shine and causing it to get too hot and warp. It takes a very steady hand and a good heat gun. The difference is more pronounced on darker plastics. When I did red I noticed the shine more than when I did the light grey. If you have some old plastic that you don't care about, practice on it first so you don't screw up your good stuff. Take your time, be very patient, and practice. GOOD LUCK- it's harder to do than you might think.
