funny ticking noise

went riding yesterday and it was the first time i went after i rolled the bike and now i noticed a ticking noise in the top end near the heads. i figure its the valves. the noise may have been there before and i just not noticed it.
could thid be a problem. is there anything i should do to my bike after i roll it it there anything i can check

could be the vavles.... piston slap..... i have had one of the vavles retainers break off and fell down and kept hitting the piston and the head... ruined the head and the piston

Thats alot of work done for a model that has only been out for a matter of weeks..

Anyways, your valves may need adjustment. Chances are they were a little off from the factory. I believe there is an article on how to do this in the Tech Articles section of the site.
