Hi there,

I posted this question in exriders because I know that there are some burgards gurus here.

I have a set of 19 inch shocks that I would like to use on the yfz. Does burgards or someone else make a a-arm that cooperates. Narrower the better for me gncc.

Yes, they make a +1" LT setup for the YFZ!

he will make pretty much whatever you want. he is making me +1 LT for 19 axis for my 400 in his new style....and lehr110 has LT pep's on his yfz so im sure it wouldnt be any problem.

19" shocks will not fit on a YFZ LT frontend. I am pretty sure every long travel shock / A-arm combo for the YFZ have a 17 to 17.5" total shocks length. The yFZ stock front shocks are much shorter than a 400EX or 250R. You will most likely get the same amount of travel between a LT YFZ or LT 400EX setup - but the shock length will be dramically different.

stroker is right!!

we're using 17.5 on the GIBSON XC A arms Thats about as long as they could get.

That Yami is a heII of a machine, i hate to say it being a hard core Honda guy!! Can't wait till its done!:eek2:

Yup, the longest shock for the YFZ is going to be 18". Burgard Cycle is currently making a long travel A-arm for 18" Elka shocks.
