I start with 220 grit and work my way up to 1500 grit before I even start with polish.

damn, 1500 grit is more softer than a kleenez or what:huh
so how long does it take to polish one rim, i mean only do the sandpaper job... and does mother is good at all?
tks.
p.s.: does a dremel will do a good job, or my hand is better?
i always think that the hand is better than a dremel, but...:blah:

I have never done a rim so I can't say how long it would take. dremels work for small stuff but it would take forever to do a rim with one. if you work you way up to 1500 grit it will make the polishing go alot better. and yes I like mothers polish. I have alot of tips I could give you but I don't have time tonight. I will PM you tomorrow if thats OK ;)
