CRF 450 engine in 400 ex

I was wondering, is it possible to drop a CRF 450 engine into a 400 ex? What would you have to change to do it? Could you keep the electric start? Would it be a hard thing to do? Where could I get an engine? I've seen them on ServiceHonda.com, but is there anywhere else they may be cheaper? Anyone have any ideas it would be much appreciated! Thanks!

:blah: Man, Imagine a CRF 450 engine in the 400 ex, unstoppable, I wouldn't have to get a new bike! It would basically be the new yamaha or honda, but hey, I wouldn't have to get a new bike and start all over!! lol!:D

Do some searches - this has been done many many times. You can forget about the electric start though...

my freinds doin it, he has an Arens frame on order and hes gonna take all his 400ex suspension and crap and put it onto the Arens frame with the crf450 in it
