its when the vheicle or product is constantly breaking down and parts breaking due to faulty components and defects from when it was put together. if its new enough you just pay the diff. of the msrp's

they probably won't do anything since you've modified it. i have an 02 recon and i haven't had a single problem with it, but it's well taken care of..not saying yours isn't of course....
what problems are you having?

09-22-2003, 04:30 PM
just by the mods in your sig i can tell your beating it and not using it how it should be

well i do all the maintenece i know how to in the manual(basically everything but the valves and oil screen) about once a month and the whole tranny has had to be rebuilt, i had numerous fuel problems, the headlights are always breaking even though i hardly use them, the oil drain plug got stripped, and the list goes on.....it sounds really bad but i know i have to adjust the valves....

whats wrong with wheel spacers on a recon? im not really beating it im just always going fast....would you feel the same way about wheel spacers on a 250ex? its prety much the same thing

09-22-2003, 04:41 PM
yeah but its not the same and recons are not made to be ridden hard and fast, stripped drain plug? maybe it sounds like you should let someone else work on it, get it fixed and sell both of those quads

The problems u listed dont have anything to do with a faulty quad. Learn how to adjust the valves too, its easy:rolleyes:

these sounds like easy problems to fix

tranny- nevr heard a prob with them so its prob your shifting
fuel- well u put it in not honda.
headlights- prob some easy fuse problem
oil plug- your total fault
