has anyone ever cut a compeition Yoshimura exhaust and if so how short should it be...? and do u get alot more power?

I think most people cut them only to keep the dirt from packing inside if you get too far into a wheelie and stand it up. I don't think anybody cuts them for power gain, am I wrong? :confused:

Yep, if you stand it on end it will plug it up or bend the pipe so they wack a few inches off. Not sure there are any power gains.

lol...do i have a story for u guys...i was riding a wheelie...i can ride them forever pretty much...but i was riding down our eisment and it went out on the gravel and lost traction and it came down and bent the tip and cracked up the chrome on my pipe...i got it unbent but...its still a lil cracked...not that it really matters though...but...i wish i woulda cut it :(
