get the T'mark on the flywheel lined up, on the cam sprocket there is 3 lines, the middle line should be facing at a 90 degree angle from the flat part on the top of the head(where the head covor goes on) and the 2 lines should be parallel with the flat part on the head. the cam lobes should be facing dirctly down. it can be a small amount off but if you can move the chain over one and its closer, get it as close as you can.

put the chain tensioner and recheck your work good luck. -darren

Do just as speedy said, but one more thing. Make sure you do not drop the little cam gear bolt down the case.

Go to the TECH ARTICLES page, it tells you how to do it.
