what is the loudest pipe for the 400EX?

You should think about, Hmf or Hetrick racing pipe, Lrd, tc there all engine builder pipes so yeh There pretty loud to to loud and give power gains Im getting the Hetrick because i was told its a good pipe Pretty much loud ( witch i ant) and it has good gains. If i am wrong about the hetrick plz tell me im getting the pipe for my 400 really soon. Oh yeh the Hmf is pretty loud too!! Good luck

You should check out Curtis Sparks. It puts out some of the best numbers. You can hear one on H4 in the Eatin $hit section when dana goes over :(

HMF or Sparks dont make slip ons.:huh

I say if you want a really good slip on that does make a little noise, go with the White Bros. E-series and run it strait pipe or get the WB R4. I have a 416 and run my e-series strait and love it. It puts out a nice tone tool:macho

also with the big gun, i had a full system on my ex when i bought it, and i didnt really like the way it sounded, even in the high revs it had a "bogged down" sound too it, really low, and i thought it was pretty damn loud but i havent used any other pipes....

i am not sure what your looking for. a loud pipe, or one with nice power gains? do looks matter? also, hmf does make slip ons. sparks doesn't though.

I would have to recomend the DMC Alien, that system isn't the loudest out there, but from the reviews and now having tryed it myself, I would say next to Duncan's Fatboy 4 it's the best system for the 400 ex and it's pretty affordable too, cheaper than the Big Gun and Fatboy 4. Good luck and, really you can't go wrong no matter what you go with, everyone is pretty much making good exhausts these days.

Loud noesnt equal coolness, or power!:o It does make people hate us and get pissed off and call the cops, so if that what your looking for, cut your stock pipe off!;)

the best two pipes there are LRD, and Curtis Sparks, they have good sound! and give ya some power, and duability!;)

If you're looking for a loud slip on, you shold get the TC slip on. The one I've seen for the ex has you saw of part of the header drill a hole in the frame so you can mount the new silencer. They are louder than crap and they give you a really good low end-midrange snap, and strong top end. But if you want loud thats definetly the one to get.

My old DMC was louder than my sparks x-6, if that felps you any.
