why are my rear hubs always loosening? after about 2 days of riding. both of them are. i took them off and greased them real good. then i tightened them up really tight.

my left one is doing the same thing...i go left on all my donuts all the time & it seems to be happening fro mthat...do yo udo alot of donuts o nboth sides?:confused:

How tight are you going?
They should be tightened to 101 lb. ft. then up to the next avalible slot on the castle nut for the cotter pin to fit.

ok..i was just wondering, thank for the info.;) ......im tightening mine up as hard as i can with a socket wrench cause i dont have access to those special tools :(

Mine do it also,,,just tighten them down every other ride.

Hey go to AutoZone, Checkers, PEP boys or your local parts store and most of them let u use them for a small refundable deposit.

Those who have torque wrenches, here is a helpful hint. Always set ur torque wrench back to ZERO when u are done with it. Or the next time u want to check the torque on something it could be off! You also have it check at aleast every two years, or better once a year.
