I have a 96 RM125 an need to put new piston rings in it. I have no clue how to do it. Can someone please give me an idea of how to do it! Thanks

you would need to dissconnect the radiator hoses and drane out the engine of anti freeze ....Then you would have to take off the top end and the rings are around the piston....take them off and put the new ones in....arent the best help but who know it might help....if u take off the head without draneing the anti freeze it will fill up the cylinder with antifreeze

This isn't the kind of job you want to do for your first time with out help or a service manual. I suggest getting at least one (preferably both). And by help I mean someone that has done it before there with you, not internet help. And it only has one ring..

Anytime man...but dont get yourself in a hurry...youll screw it up.I made that mistake and grinded my cylinder and piston..But i got it bored and new piston..When you are reassembling make sure you put a thin coat of the premix oil you will be using on all parts.And it always good to make sure the base gasket is on the right way.haha:devil:
