Well we tore my 300 down last night & man check the piston out!!!:eek: It smells sooooo burnt!! I't s a good thing we decided to do this cuz it was wore out BAD!! But on the good side everything else was in good shape, timing chain,gear,cam ect. we are replacing the timeing chain,gear,& guide anywaycuz we have the parts & of course the piston!! I'm going w/ a Wiseco75.50mm domed one this thing is really gonna run ALOT better!! Taking the cylinder to get bored Monday, man that was worn too!! We got our blaster back up & running yesterday too, had to replace the shift shaft in it, man was that thing bent up:rolleyes:

From the pictures, that piston doesn't look that bad. Definitely shows some wear, but not as bad as some that I've seen.

u shoulda seen my piston when the top end blew on my dale............ :scary: :scary:

Doesn't look that bad I would change the valve seals while you are in there :)

What cc and compression does that make your 300?

Yeah the pics don't do it justice, the skirt is almost worn all the way thru, & you can feel where it's wore the cylinder.
