probably not good to run it at high rpms for a long time straight.

for me i ride as fast as possible in every condition. i use the clutch alot because i can keep a faster pace that way when flying through trails or the track.

when i did ride i used to always think i was in a race. unless it was really muddy then i would drive like an old man ona utiltiy quad. lol but mostly fast and hard

i ride fast no matter where im riding. when its muddy i like to give it just a lil more gas to spin the tires :D . i dont really rev my bike real high, i mostly short shift, but i keep it fast :macho

i'm WOT quite a bit...i'm definitely not a very polished or refined of a rider (my riding style is kinda sloppy at best- just ask 4wheelboy), but it seems to work for me- i've beaten my share of 300's and blasters, both stock and piped.

somehow i find that hard to believe....piped out 300's and blasters being beaten by a piped out 229ex?

but i guess it depends on the rider, and if you really know how to drag right...i guess you could do it, or are you talking about on a track/trails/whatever? that definately depends on the riders skill.

i am talking about track and trail. regardless, both of those machines are more track-oriented than the 250ex is.

wow, they must suck on them then if they were beat by you on your 229, otherwise you're a pro just messing around on a 229....

Depending on where I'm riding at, I'm usually pinned..
I rev the chit out of it.
Thats probably a good reason why it doesn't run right now.
I have a habbit of slipping the clutch when lugging out of a corner... Also a good reason why my clutch is gone too...
On the track I pretty much ride it like a 2-stroke.
