Maier Silver 400 Plastic

Does any one have pictures of racing or regular silver maier plastic for the 400ex with the stock red seat or red as the offset color and just any pics with the silver plastic at all? Please post some replies. Thanks!

Its not as clean as Junkies though is it!

The silver doesn't show scratches too badly, it still looks pretty good, very flexible hasn't cracked, but the fit is terrible: I can't get the front of the seat to clip in the way the 3 pcs come together there, need to modify it somehow, but thats minor. The front fenders also stick up higher than the other guys who have orange or black maier.

I also have some blue side panels so I might get a blue seat cover and bars next year.

Silver looks great with the blue frame. I have pics of a very nice 416 with a blue frame, silver maiers, and chrome a-arms but no where to host it.:(

Killfitt~~ Im with you on the fit... Ive heard it all too often lately too about the fit being not right. mine was off too and had to do some adj. to mine as well:grr: The only thing Im not happy with on mine is the rear fenders flap too much:mad: but it does hide the scratches up really good. I sue liquid gold spray to make it look shiny ....

heh ah yeah now that you mention it Junkie, they do flap around a lot don't they. The first few times they'd whack me in the ***** when I'm standing up I'd look down thinking my rear seat was coming off, but nope still where its supposed to be.

for a while I had the stock red seat cover and hated it, I'll see if I have any pics of the bike with it one, but then I got this black gripper seat and it looks much better!

I have Silver Maier also. Really happy with the looks. Unfortunatly I don't have any of my still pictures uploaded to link to, but here is a shot of one from a video camera. I bought a stock black seat to replace my red one....my red one was in pretty bad shape so I thought it would like crap. The whole seat is only like $75. Sorry for the crappy pic...

I have silver standarfronts, then I race cut them, with red side panels, red gas tank cover, silver rear fenders, cutom seat cover with red sides and silver top. With custom 1999 stock graphics that say 440ex and a powder coated red frame. I have a pic, just don't know how to post it. If someone does I canemail you the pic and you upload it.
