i like how the SParks pipe looks on the yfz, and i think it really gives it a power increase, but also look at the Yoshimura pipe

I like both the sparks and the HMF. I think you would be happy with either pipe. they both make a huge gain in HP on that bike.:)

Colby is correct...huge difference! I went with a 170 main jet and 45 pilot....don't need choke anymore for sure. I am running 120/92 octane 50/50 and the quad rips. I raced my old Dale Saturday in a few drags and pulled it through 4th gear, he caught up once we both hit 5th and started to pull me a bit....but this is way, way past the distance a drag race would be. The Dale has stock gearing, full HMF exhaust and Moto/Speed mapping. Oh yeah...the kid weighs like 90lbs less than me....so that puts it in perspective.....:D :macho

Your not gonna find an aftermarket pipe that gives a good power gain without being loud.
I've heard sparks pipes before and they aren't the quietest pipes on the market.
ive reved my 400 up with a yfz witha sparks and it was just bout the same different tone though not by much. But ive notcied that the yfz's with the sparks pipe backfire alot im not sure if its cuz the jetting is off or they just have no backpressure? btw i got a hmf and i think i would get a hmf or sparks.

the HMF is louder than the SPARKS on a 400 but like they said ur not going to find a quite aftermarket pipe. i think that HMF has a quite core that u can install in it, but think it will cut ur power down, but if ur looking for quite pipe i would go the sparks. these two pipes do what they are supposed to do
