my chain and sprockets

hey guys my chain is way loose some times but other times when i stop the chain is so tight it wont move so is there somthing wrong wit my sprockets or chain i just put a new chain on two and a front sprocket so will i have to replace all 3 ??????????? i need some help

Make sure the 4 bolts[allen head] on the end of the swing arm are tight!! if not you could have some major prob's. those bolts keep the carrier in place...
