You obviously dont. The $999 is a STARTING BID. Starting Bid means thats where the bidding will start. Thats the lowest the bids will go. The bids have to go up from there, understand yet?

Yeah for example if I was to sell my quad car whatever on ebay or where ever I could start with an opening bid but then have the resevre set at like 5 grand or something get it?

yeah but he doesnt have a reserve on it. I think it would be smart on whoever is bidding on it to wait till the last second
