my father and I were walking on a cross walk to go into a best buy and a truck comes speeding at us and swerves around us. I go off cuz i havent been having good luck recently and just dont care anymore... "watch out .... so he slams on his brakes and turns around. He says "dont say anything unless u plan to do somethign about it" well i wanted to do something about it so I encouraged him to hit me. (I will never throw a first punch, if I would ever even get into a situation) So of course off I go cussing (i looked for little kids first, natural reaction because my mom has a daycare)and im screaming. so he opens up his door and the first words out of my mouth are "if you step one foot out of that truck its mine" and I stopped yelling. he once again said "dont say anything unless u plan to do something about it" then I say "I wish you would have hit me so I could sue you for every penny you got" Then I called the cops and said there was a drunk driver there and gave them his tag number. I dont know if he was drunk or just always that messed up.
And i review my driving handbook alot so I know the laws to cover my rear (theres alot of crazy laws, especially concerning 4-way stop intersections). The pedestrian has right of way at all crosswalks in MD. The driver must stop for pedestrians at all crosswalks.
just had to vent because i havent been having a good time. I was just in a car accident (not my fault) that totalled my truck and sent me to the hospital, my debit card was stolen and some a-hole spent all my money. insurance, cell phone, quad loan, and now car payment are almost due. Plus the other insurance company is being a pain and I am going to need to get a lawyer.
