All the juicy details please :o

Jeff beat Ballance.........

I ran 25+ in the morning. I think we had 52 racers in the class. First lap i was 8th, got tangled up with a couple jackass's for about 10 minutes on a hill at the end of lap 2, and it put me back to 29th :( I put the hammer down and passed 7 guys in my class and about 20 total on the last lap to finish 22nd. I had a great ride going, wasn't tired, feelin good and that 1 hang-up cost me wood i think.. Oh well it was alot of fun, met a lot of people off the page and came home in one piece.

Our girl Traci Cecco got the overall in the morning class.. Woo Hoo, way ta go Traci.

Afternoon was Yokley, Page, and Smiley. Ballance was ridin a YZF450 Yammi and finished 13th overall i think..

Jeffy finished 2nd in 4 stroke A to long rival Bryan Cook and I think he got 9th or 10th overall,, Man i'm glad I taught him everything he knows..

Our Admin finished 5th I believe in Vet,,way ta go Harlen,, I beleive he had a few problems that kept him from the #1 spot. He also took alot of pics so he'll be adding them soon..

Everybody else that raced can tell ya what they did i can't remember..

And a BIG THANKS to the Quadshop for feedin all of us on Friday night..

Here's a LINK (http://ricoracing.netfirms.com/Sparta_2003.htm) to some pics that were takin with my camera while i was racin...:ermm:

I finished 5th in the first years. 105 overall in the morning class.

Rico, you forgot to have someone get a pic of Spincer doing his 2 wheeler and roll. I wonder if someone got a pic of the yellow z going down the hill backwards on its front wheels and front bumper. (You had to see it to believe it)

My daughter was really impressed with watching Traci race. She has been a little interested with racing but after her watching Traci she is a little fired up. I tried to get her to go talk to her but she can be a little shy sometimes.

Traci was tearin' it up today. There was no stopping that girl.
Way to go!!!!!
She's pretty darn good at changin' tires too ;)
Thanks to all that helped with the 700.
Also to the Quad-shop for cookin' out, that was really nice of ya'll.

See ya at St. Clairsville~

i got 8th in the sport class, most importantly, i got 4 laps in, wich was a goal i've had from the begining of the season. did it on a bone stock 300 too.:D

i had a blast, nice meeting everyone and a big thank you goes to the spectators that were nice enough to lend a hand (even if that meant spilling beer) when they see racers in a bind.

That was one of the best tracks I have ever ridden. If that is what riding places in Kentucky are like, then y'all are lucky. I got first in the 4-stroke c 16-24 class and 7th overall. I also got the holeshot and ended with a minute and a half lead.:macho

I got 28 out of 50 in 4-stroke novice 16-24. I dotn think it was bad for my 1st GNCC and third race. The new Elkas worked great jeff. Had a lot of other problems( Edebrock card sticking WFO) that caused me a wreck into a tree and over the bars. And i had way to much air in the tires i was sliding every where. Overall i had a fun weekend. Thanks jeff for the food fri night.

I stalled on the last lap and Cook got by, I never could get back around him on the last lap. We had a blast battling back and forth all day! We were in our own little world working our way through the pack, it was fun!

Since I was running the tire balls, I was hitting the creek beds wide open. I passed Cook there on the first lap like he was sitting still. After the race he asked me "WHAT THE HE11 WERE YOU THINKING?" I had to explain to him that I new I wasn't gonna get a flat. He was like

Hey Eric, what did you think of that first field after the start? I'm glad you were the only one that seemed to realize that I had no clue where I was going!:p You pulled away for a few miles and had me scared. I'm sorry to hear about your dad, if he wants a video of it let me know.

Well, I had a great time as always hanging out with everyone. I also enjoyed running the track in the morning talking pictures, but it will be the last time that I will be doing it. I ended up wearing out my legs and was having serious leg craps the whole race. I almost wreck real bad, and if I didn't save it, I would have been in the hospital for sure! I wasn't as lucky earlier when both my legs cramped at once and I lost focus and hit a stump and launched through the air like I had a spring on seat from what I was told by Bobby Ousley. My quad flipped and I landed in the ditch. I tried to stand up, but my leg cramped again and I fell back down in the ditch. I never experienced so much pain during a race, but atleast I finished, and I only ended up with minor bruising from my dismount.

Well, enough about me. Time for the pictures:D

It is people like Jeff, Smiley, and Yokely that make us morning riders feel bad, except Traci. We think we are out there really hauling *****. Then we watch them come by and bust our bubbles., we weren't that fast :(

GNCCer, They were pointing him out after he took off. I am sure someone got his number as he come around.

Bradley, taking all things into consideration you did pretty darn good. A bone stock 300 ex would not be my first choice of quads to run XC. But you made due with what you had and come out pretty good.

Yep, and I think the clutch was on its way of being fried, too...it smelled that way in the morning, anyway.

Actually there was a nice down hill run that dropped off onto a dirt road and you had to make a sharp left hand turn. I was coming down the hill and watched a KFX plow a path through the brush on the other side of the road. Don't know if he went all the way through but he wasn't there when I came back around.

My first time thru there was a little hairy. I was headed that way but some guy was nice enough to let me use his quad as a stopping device. He overshot the turn too and was headin back up to the road when i hit him broadside. I laid on the gas, roosted the chit outa em, and got back on the trail.

I am not sure if they did anything to him or not, but the results on the web site show me 1 place better every lap than it said at the scoring tent. so they may have DNF'd who ever it was

Hey Jeff where's the pics of Johnny C on a Cdale and Him messin with Gnccer with those tire thingys :D

BTW I looked at the 4 stk A class and You have to win the last 2 and Bryan has to finish 5th or worst in the last 2 for you to beat him.

Joey Kish elected to switch to pro production at Sparta because he was out of the hunt for his class title and wanted to focus on his top 20 national number. The BS was he had to start on the second row even though his is a top 20 rider. So If Cook clinches the class after ST. Clairsville you might want to jump up to the second line to have a better shot at a top 20 finish.

Top 20 riders in pro and pro prod. start on the first row. THose not in the top 20 start in the 2nd row. Jeff is in the top 20 overall right now so if he moves to pro or pro prod for Ironman he'll ge to start in the first row.
