polishing brake rezzie

when i go to polish the brake rezzie cover should i try and get all the paint out of the letters too or just leave that black?:ermm:

It's all depends on what you like. Polish it and leave the letters black, if you don't like it than you can remove the black from the letters.

even if you get all the paint out of there..the polishing compound/mothers will still get in there to stay..and will cover the paint up anyway..so i sya dont worry about it:macho

I've noticed that after about the 5th hour of polishing, that darkness goes away lol.. Enough coats of mothers and compounds will cover it pretty good, or make it shine as well.

i left mine black. after polishing i spayed it brake cleaner real close to get the polish out of the letters. if you do this, make sure you wipe the part before the cleaner dries.
