i was wondering how some of you can keep your quads looking so good. i have had mine for 6 months and it looks like i have had it for 3 years. The plastics are all scratched and and faded. Any suggestions on ways to get this thing to look like new again.

You can use stuff like Armor-all or even WD40 on the plastic and tires(helps hide the scratchs. Wash it real good with Mean Green or something similar than dry it by hand to keep from getting water spots. Whip out the Armor-all and shine the whole thing up. I have found that the tire foam works real good for cleaning all the stuff on the underside of the plastic, such as all the wires.

Spray metal parts with WD-40, and let armor all sit on your plastic. It'll be nice and shiny and really easy to wash next time.

Use Mothers aluminum polish on shiny metal--rims, handlebars, etc.... You will not believe how this stuff cleans & shines metal, alum, chrome, pretty much any thing.

My dad and i first power wash our bikes asap after we go riding. then we spray our tires with bleach white and wash the rest of our quads then go back over the tires after we let the bleach white soak in after all the heavy dirt is off we take soap and water with a car washing mit and clean off all of the dirt residue then we let it dry and use Son Of A Gun tire foam on mostly everyting.

whatever you do never put armor all on your seat! When you ride a wheelie you will slide right off the back! I had to learn that the hard way:scary:

I just go to the car wash and spray the tire and engine cleaner on everything. After i get all the mud and stuff off.

It is basically the same stuff just made by J&J. I like it better. It tends not to run like mop n' glo does. It also creates a harder "shell", protecting your plastics better than mop n' glo

for one, dont drag youre boots across the plastic, dont let other people get on it, much less ride it. i found if you spray pam over the bike during the "off-season" itl clean up easier and keep the dust off, keep it covered, and most important of all try not to wreck it......... it tends to help alot. ive been complimented on how clean i keep mine. my neighbor has had one for as long as i have......... his looks 5 years old, and mine looks like it just came off the assembly line:cool: :D

Use this stuff called Magic Mix. It's the best polish for metal ever.
Use it on any metal or alluminum on your quad or car rims. It makes aluminum look chrome. You can get it at Napa. It;s the best

wash all the big, clumpy dirt off with a hose and use simple green in one of them pump containers(the kind they use for insecticide)and spray your bike down.let it sit for about 5 mins and hose off.thats all,no scrubbing.then wd40 the metal, and that is it.you wont beleive how clean it comes out with very lil effort
