Do I need a washer under my needle clip? I have never had one there, but am going back to the stock needle. Can I just put a #6 flat washer in there? It's like 1mm thick...

Thanks

i am not sure what you are talking about? are you referring to the clip that is adjustable on the jet needle itself?

I have heard somthing like this on here. I think it was for fine tuning, changing the needle level by 1/2 notch. I could very well be wrong though:rolleyes: :p

The dynojet kit comes with a washer and tells you to put it on top of the needle clip. I don't think you need it if you are using the stock needle.

All it does is give you more adjustment.

The washer is 1/2 the thickness of the e clip goooves.

So if you want to go richer but not a whole clip pos up just put the washer under the clip--raising the needle 1/2 pos.

other than that it serves no purpose.

how does it raise the needle if it goes on top of the clip??? i can see it raising the needle if it goes below the clip, but maybe i am missing something.

yeah, to fine tune it you put the washer below the clip-darren
