With age comes maturity in most cases....I am not offended in any way, I asked for opinions and I got them. Most drag banshees are built off of older style frames due to mostly the initial cost and the j-arm style frames. You will never get your money back with any project quad. Oh yeah, good luck with your little shop mr. knowledge..

Thanks Matt, ill give you the money when I cash the money order tomorrow.

banshees are a awesome quad, thats in no way a waste of money. if nobody restored quads then the quads would eventually dissapear. i would love to find some beat up 250r or banshee and just build it up for a project. would give me something to do.

yeah thats easy to say when you got 8 grand or more to throw around for whatever quad you want, puit yourself in his position, u got so much cash why dont your throw me and him a couple grand , its not so easy being a kid and trying to get a half way decent quad to ride, so stop being a dick or leave no one wants to hear you talk about there quad like that, the only reason you came here in the first place is to try to sell quads:rolleyes:

thanks freeride ;) trying to play sports, keep up grades, and work is kinda hard and very time consuming. I wish I had enough time and cash to finish this thing asap with all the parts I'd like to.

I geuss some people never do fully mature. It's your money and your quad. He is just lucky it wasn't a Honda you are redoing.
I geuss if he thinks that you are wasting money on the "She" than what is his thought about my little project for the wife? By the way it's a Suzuki LT230 Quadsport, just in case the all knowing needs a refresher.

Lookin good danney ;) Its not like im dumping a boatload of money into it and trying to sell it for like 7g's anyway. Just trying to restore it and adding some nice parts here and there, bought it mostly just for the knowledge anyway.

man, did you drop out of school? your english is horrible and that all caps is really annoying.

like Atreyu said you never "get" your money back in a project quad, but if he has fun, then yes he will get his money's share. and for the frame being old with j-arms, if he's going to use it for dragging then i don't see a problem in it.

and for wasting the money, you seem like one of those old drunks that waste all their money on beer down at the local bar...

by the way, love the frame color, and i'm sure this is going to turn out to be a sweet banshee! keep up the good work!!:D

i'm getting an '89 310R soon for a project...what are you going to say about that ANDYL?:D ;)

Thats a good quad to rebuild and enjoy riding. Nothing like the hit of that two cylinder 2 stroke when it gets on the pipe. Enjoy!
