I cant post any pictures yet but it holds 1 extra quart and has 3 1" x 2" rect holes right in the middle for air flow! I can send out pictures if anyone wants to see.

I could be wrong - but it looks like the openings around the vents are pretty narrow - seems like you could have a situation where the the motor could be trying to suck oil out of the bottom of the tank fast then it's flowing down from the top - make sense. Seems like you could also have the situation where the oil would back up into the head because it can't drain down to the bottom quickly enough. Seems like s better design would have bee to offset the middle vent lower to allow for larger opening around the vent. I don't know - this may not be an issue at all

I thought the samr thing but after running mine for a little while now i've found that it is not an issue. It works perfectly and is probably the nicest fitting after market product I've ever bought. It fits perfectly everything lines up and bolts on just like it should. They did a great job with designing and building these tanks. They are also Sweet Looking!!!

The purpose of the holes is to allow air to hit more surface area to help cool the oil and having an extra quart allows it to be cooler as well.

If you think about it, the the diameter of the hoses running to the engine are more than likely smaller than the space between the vents. I would think the oil pump could handle that if it can handle the hoses and inlets and outlets. I dunno just makes sense to me! Later fellas!

i would think having the vented holes placed in the center of the oil's greatest mass would be mmost effective:ermm:

but what do i know....:p
