hey i put about 2 quartz to a lil bit lower then 2 quartz of Mobil 1 15w50 synthetic.. i warmed it up today for about 5 min and then i check the oil i took it out cleaned it put it back in with out screwing it in the oil is up to the part where it says upper on the dip stick its up to the E in upper is that to much? or is that ok?

I don't have it in front of me - but I think there is an actual "upper" line isn't there? I would go on that. I actually run mine over the line, I figure I want to try to get every bit of oil in there that I can - so far no leaks or anything.

i pour mine in untill it starts over filling... :ermm:

You are just fine. The hole on the other side of the "R" is the "upper" mark.

Yeah but you want to be careful not to put in too much oil.. Too much oil will turn into a frothy foam and not lubricate worth CRAP..

too much oil is a majorly bad thing.

filling it until no more goes in... thats a bad idea.

theres a hole in the upper part of the dip stick... fill it untill the hole gets a bubble

I didnt think it was possible to overfill a dry sump engine:huh Think about it. Wouldnt a larger Pingry's oil tank do the same thing?
